The canyon in Göynük maintains its mystery as an unknown natural wonder for years. Some hotels and tourism agencies arrange jeep safaries to reach the canyon, which is 5 km at the upper side of Göynük. Early in the mornings, accompanied by a guide, you can go tracking in the pine woods. After an hour walk, having a splendid panorama all the time, you will reach the canyon. To go further you have to go in to water. When you reach the spring of the canyon, you will be fascinated by the view you encounter. The magnificent view, ensued by the step 300 - 350 m high mountains, which are worn out by waters by the time, captures big and little waterfalls as well. The canyon, with its deep valleys, narrows down to 6 m from time to time. It also provides opportunities to swim in its large ponds. The mysterious panorama of embraced mountains is approximately 6 km long. Tracking the valley takes approximately 3 hours.

An interesting natural beauty, the mythological Yanartaş (Chimera) is located in the north of Olympus, at the upper side of the Çıralı Beach. Belleraphon, on his winged horse Pegasus, has killed the fire-spewing dragon at this place. According to the myth the flames coming out of the stone are the flames that the dragon is spewing out of his mouth. The ruins of the temple, build in this area, which was considered as sacred by the Byzantine smith's, are still remaining next to Yanartaş. According to some historians the Olympic fire was taken from this place first time. The origin of this continuously burning fire is combustible gas.

The climate in Kemer bears the Mediterranean climate features. The mild weather conditions offer holiday possibilities in all seasons. Sometimes you can experience in Kemer four seasons in one day. 300 days of the year are sunny.

In summer time it is rainless and hot. In winter time its rainy and mild. No snow falls to the coastline of the district. The mountains in the north and the mild wind from the south are reasons why it usually goes never below 10 Cº in this region. With the exception of a few weeks of rainy days, the seawater, which goes even in winter not below 15 Cº allows you to benefit from the sea all year long.
